in the face of the severe impact of the covid-19 epidemic, the construction schemes shall be timely adjusted to achieve an effective safety and quality control. the construction period of the first storage tank of the project, from the cap construction to the completion of dome jacking-up, is nearly one month shorter than that of the domestic lng project of the same scale.

tangshan lng project insists on taking innovation as the first driving force, and effectively controls concrete cracks by reforming the construction technology of 鈥渁lternate block construction and layered pouring鈥? which not only ensures the construction quality but also shortens the construction period; it has realized the integrated piling for construction through the research and development of patent technology so as to minimize the quantities and effectively save the construction cost of pile foundation. in addition, the rubber vibration isolation cushion technology is adopted successfully for this project so as to effectively absorb seismic energy and ensure that the structure of the storage tank meets the anti-seismic performance requirements under special geological conditions in the tangshan area, and the automatic monitoring system is introduced to monitor the pressure change in the tank and the height of the measuring point of the dome roof in a real-time manner, which ensures that the dome roof is under high-standard control during the jacking-up process.

in recent years, cooec has actively implemented the green development concepts, strengthened the construction of lng engineering technology and epc capacity, successfully implemented nearly 20 lng projects including tianjin lng, zhejiang lng, and zhangzhou lng projects, and established the lng project empc capacity of a single tank of 30,000m3 - 220,000m3 and terminal scale of 6 mtpa - 20 mtpa, which provides a guarantee for expediting the construction of china's natural gas production, supply, storage, and marketing system and optimizing the energy structure.

it's understood that according to the overall plan, tangshan lng project will build one lng terminal with an annual handling capacity of 12 million tons, twenty 200,000m3 lng storage tanks, and two supporting docks. the first phase of the terminal includes four 200,000m3 storage tanks and some supporting facilities such as docks, trestles, process areas, and tanker loading areas. when the project is fully completed and put into operation, it will be of great significance to optimizing the energy structure of the beijing-tianjin-hebei region, meeting the requirements of regional natural gas supply and demand balance, enhancing the capacity of peak regulation for gas supply in winter in north china, and ensuring the gas supply safety in north china and improving the environmental quality.
